Not A But B, short story, 2010

This is a novel project, which is written for the project Novel 01: in search of Jun-ho Lee, a collection of visual artists's narrative based writing. The organiser of the project, Dae-bum Lee, asked participating artists to include a character named Jun-ho Lee whether he or she is the protagonist or not.

I wrote this story based on an idea archived in Forgotten Ideas, a project created by an Italian curator, Cecilia Cuida, which collects abandoned project ideas and plans from artists, curators, academics, writers and other creative minds.

This particular idea belonged to Mikolaj Lozinski, a Polish writer, who came up with it as a story topic. Mikolaj planned to write a novel about a person who identifies with a famous person whose name he or she shares, but he abandoned the topic.

This story is originally written in Korean. Jakub Wrzesniewski helped me to translate it into English.

Also, the English version of the story has been translated into Serbian by Sasa Scepanovic for the show, Cooperation, not Corporation, at ITS-Z1, International Test Site, Ritopek, Serbia

Cecilia Guida helped to translate the English version of the story into Italian.
